My first technique is layering. I love to layer different cardstock and pattern paper on cards and scrapbook pages. Here I am layering the card with my second favorite technique -- digital paper, digital sentiments and digital images. When digital became a thing a few years ago I thought I would really love it. And I do -- sort of. I love creating digital designs but I missed the texture you could only get from the real thing. So I use digital paper, sentiments and images, but I print them and layer them on cardstock. For this card I used Pink Petticoat's Life's Lemons paper and Pink Petticoat with Flowers Cupcake image and sentiments. Finally, I love using gems and jewels on my projects. I don't think any card is completely finished unless it has some bling on it. This card is no exception. You certainly cannot have a cupcake without sprinkles!
